E-Bike Booking Terms and Conditions

General Termsss

By using the SAMPODABOOK e-bike booking service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

Booking Process

• E-bikes can be booked exclusively through the SAMPODABOOK platform.
• You must provide accurate pick-up and drop-off locations within the designated service areas (Bacoor, Las Piñas, and Parañaque).
• Bookings are confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.
• You must be at least 18 years old to book and ride an e-bike.
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all booking details.

Usage Policy

• E-bikes are for business use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
• Pricing is based on the distance traveled and the duration of the booking.
• The maximum distance for a single booking is 10 kilometers.
• Riders must follow all traffic rules and regulations.
• Helmets are mandatory for all riders and passengers (if applicable).

Pricing and Payment

• Fares are calculated based on distance traveled at a rate of ₱10 per kilometer.
• Minimum fare is ₱60 per kilometer.
• Payment can be made via cash or GCash.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, but existing bookings will be honored at the booked rate.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up time will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled pick-up time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the fare.
• No-shows will be charged the full fare.
• Refunds for online payments will be processed within 2-3 business days.

Safety and Liability

• Riders are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.
• We are liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the ride.
• Customers must not operate the e-bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Riders are responsible for any traffic violations incurred during their booking period.

Equipment Responsibility

• Riders are responsible for the e-bike during the booking period.
• Any damage to the e-bike must be reported immediately.
• Customers will be charged for any damage caused to the e-bike due to negligence or misuse.

Privacy Policy

• We collect personal information solely for the purpose of providing our services.
• Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
• Payment information is processed securely and is not stored on our servers.

Service Limitations

• Service is subject to e-bike availability.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other external factors.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
